Objective: Recognize "dramatic irony" (see page 381) in the play Macbeth.

Dramatic irony is when the audience knows something that is different compared to what the characters supposedly think. For example, when Macbeth tells Banquo he will be happy to see him later that night at the dinner, the audience knows (not Banquo) that Macbeth does NOT want to see Banquo at the dinner; in fact, he has hired assassins to murder Banquo later that day.

Begin reading Act IV, scenes 1 and 2 - pages 381-391

6th hour - behind a day because of early release for snow on Tuesday. 6th hour will watch Act III today...
